Cummings Research Park, which was named The Most Outstanding Science Park in the World by AURP in 1997 is the second largest research park in the US and the 1st largest in the world. Redstone Arsenal and Research park, which houses campuses for big name companies such as ADTRAN, Dynetics, Teledyne Brown, Allied Electronics, Avvocent Corporation, BAE Systems, Camber Corporation, Digium, HP, Lockheed Martin, Northrup Grummon and Raytheon are the pulse of Huntsville. Since research park is bordered by both I565 and US72 it is convenient to most places in Madison County, but is closest to the western areas of Huntsville and Madison.
