Redstone Arsenal, which is located on the west side of Huntsville Alabama, supplies over 25,000 jobs to the region. The arsenal was established in 1941 as part of the mobilization leading up to US involvement in WWII. Although there is no “long drive” in Huntsville, South East Huntsville and Madison Homes are only a ten minute or less drive for the arsenal employees.
